Luxurious Apres
The Vintage Room is a chic lounge located slopeside the Deer Valley Ski Resort. Ski down the Deer Hollow run, click out of your skis, and enter the 1,600-square-foot bar through one of three sets of french doors. Stunning chandeliers hanging from vaulted ceilings give the area a modern vibe while heaters create coziness.
Most of the seating at The Vintage Room is first-come, first-served. The comfortable couches, oversized chairs, and fuzzy stools huddled around modern tables are great areas for groups. Or sit at the massive 30-foot wooden bar to see the bartenders mix specialized concoctions and chefs shucking fresh oysters. On cold days, try the lounge’s take on the Hot Toddy, the pumpkin-infused Poe, or the 7452 Bloody Mary, aptly named after the altitude of Deer Valley. The Vintage Room even has four signature beers with fun names like Tipsy Trolley. Outside, there are more seating options around the Garden of Fire. The chic upgrade to the typical ski fire pit is home to live music nightly.
The food menu is just as impressive as the drink menu. Specializing in raw seafood, The Vintage Room flies in fresh clams, oysters, and crab legs daily. Other offerings include turkey chili, tomato soup, spicy shrimp, and lobster salad — all created by local chef Mathew Harris.
You can make a reservation to enjoy The Vintage Room by booking the VIP area. The raised area can accommodate up to 10 people and has all the delicious offerings of the lounge area plus wine and champagne service. There is a minimum of $1,000 for lunchtime and $2,000 for apres ski. You can call the hotel for reservations.
More Apres Options
While The Vintage Room is the newest addition to Deer Valley’s apres-ski scene, there are more options around the resort for your post-ski celebration. The St. Regis Bar — located in the lobby of the hotel — is a longtime favorite amongst locals. Ski to it from the slopes or access the hotel via the funicular from the base of Deer Valley Resort. Here, feast on the 7452 Burger while surrounded by beautiful art. For a more intimate experience, opt for the Library Cafe, which offers smaller bites and a conversational, cozy atmosphere. It’s next to the hotel’s lobby.
Start your night off with a little tradition at the Mountain Terrace and the nightly champagne sabering. Then, enjoy the Champagne and Caviar Bar while warming up under outdoor heaters. For dessert, make your way to the Astor Terrace Fire Pit for the nightly smores bar.
The St. Regis Deer Valley continues to be a pillar of opulence at Deer Valley Ski Resort, and no matter where you apres, you will experience breathtaking views, unique cocktails, and the freshest food selections.
