“We’re howling with anticipation, too!” Great Wolf Lodge wrote on its website.
“The 84 degrees sale is almost here,” the resort continued. “For one day only, August 4, book rooms starting at $84 per night on Sunday–Thursday stays.”
If you’re wondering why a flash sale on August 4, 8/4, with rooms starting at $84, is called the “84 degrees” sale, it’s because the temperature inside Great Wolf Lodge resorts is always 84 degrees for guests’ comfort.
“Family getaways are precious, and many families are delaying travel plans due to sky-rocketing costs, which is why we decided to bring back our signature 84-degree, $84 room night flash sale and help families preserve that cherished experience of getting away,” Alan Genin, chief commercial officer for Great Wolf Resorts, said in a statement, according to KKTV CBS. “With unlimited access to our indoor water park and family-friendly entertainment offerings included with an overnight stay, a getaway to Great Wolf Lodge is already a tremendous value.”
Great Wolf Lodge has offered the 84 degrees sale before, but this year, it’s valid for stays through mid-December.
“This year, we expanded our special $84 room night offer and extended it to include stays through mid-December to give families more opportunities to take advantage of this incredible deal and enjoy some quality time together at our resorts,” Genin continued.
The Deal’s Details
Importantly, you’ll need to act quickly because Great Wolf Lodge’s 84 degrees sale is only valid on August 4.
During the flash sale, rates start at $84 per night — not including taxes and resort fees — for Sunday–Thursday stays.
While the special rate is offered for stays from August 4–December 23, 2023, there are some blackout dates. They include Fridays and Saturdays, as well as bank and school holidays such as Labor Day and Columbus Day.

Great Wolf Lodge has locations across the U.S. and at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The centerpiece of each lodge is the waterpark, which includes Fort Mackenzie, a four-story water treehouse with slides. Other waterpark attractions include Slap Tail Pond, where you can catch a wave or play in the swells, the lazy river Crooked Creek, the raft slide River Canyon Run, and Alberta Falls, a four-story tandem tube ride.
Outside the waterpark but still inside the resort, the lodges feature other attractions including Howlers Peak ropes course, arcade games, mini-bowling, and the interactive adventure game, MagiQuest.
