Our family had such a wonderful vacation together at Moondock 1! We couldn’t stop raving about the views, the one block walk to the Boardwalk and the family gathering space, the screen porch. This is a must rent for your vacation at Rehoboth Beach. Also, we enjoyed our bike ride adventure to Henlopen State Park exploring nature and history . The only area that we see as a need for improvement are the beds in the twin bedroom . Maybe an upgrade would be great if this is an option . The owners have done a beautiful job renovating this home where we made wonderful memories! Thank you !

Great location, beautiful house. Our issue: The previous guests left behind an undeniable “pet smell”, but the ReMax team was extremely proactive in doing everything possible to mitigate the smell and make us comfortable. By the end of our stay the smell was almost unnoticeable.
The Pines was a beautiful home with lots of features including a beautiful location. Unfortunately when we walked in the door the home smelled of cat urine. It was obvious the previous guest had a cat. Feces left behind on the top patio and a bedroom that was just over powering with urine smell. We determined that a rug was the one main reason and removed it so the remainder of stay was less offensive. We did report this to property management who was slow with any kind of response. So unfortunately the house was great but because of these issues we will not be returning.

Gorgeous house and bedrooms well spaced out with full baths close by. The location is perfect for the beach and just steps to the boardwalk. Our only recommendation would be mattress toppers on the beds!
With four generations (five families) gathering for the week these accommodations were made to order. The generous open floor plan gave everyone a sense of being part of the crew as desired yet each family was afforded their own comfort and privacy when necessary. We hope to make this an annual event.
The location of the home was perfect. Across from the end of the beach and within a block of the boardwalk. House itself was stunning. Pictures didn’t do it justice.
This is such a nice house! You will get the best sunrises from many places in this house. You are maybe 100 feet from the beginning of the boardwalk. The planning that went into building this house shows. The weekend we went was mid April, and the weather was very variable, but there always seemed to be a balcony to meet the moment. 3 of the balconies are screened, and we can see how this would be perfect for summer dinners on the porch. Great place!

We have stayed at this property in the past. We loved it then and we love it even more now. Judi has made some great upgrades to the property. The new kitchen is wonderful, the addition of a laundry room, and the 2nd floor bath. But what truly makes this house is you can sit and watch the ocean all day, you can walk right to the beach from the back porch, its close enough you can let the older kids walk back to the house without worry. I can’t recommend this house enough and plan to be back next year!

I have been going to the delaware beaches since I was a kid, and have stayed in many different houses. Judi’s is by far my favorite. Clean, interior design with impeccable taste, and an incredible view. I also really appreciate how things like kitchen equipment and furniture are actually nice, vs most rentals having low quality pans and couches and etc. Thanks as always Judi!

My bff from high school and I try to meet up once a year and reconnect. Last year we rented a place in Dewey in October and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back. This time we rented at this location because of the proximity to the beach and easy walk to Rehoboth. We were very happy with our choice. This is an absolutely beautiful place right on the sand. You open up the door and walk onto the northern most part of Dewey Beach. If you keep walking north, in about ten minutes you’ll be at the beginning of the Rehoboth boardwalk. The location cannot be beat. The furnishings were also lovely and the seating was comfortable and cozy. For dining in, you can choose between the option to share meals either around the nice dining room table, or out on the enclosed porch where you can open the door and listen to the waves. There is a clear master bedroom with an insanely gorgeous view over the water, but the other bedroom is also nice and has its own bathroom as well so that we each had our own space. The photos give a very good sense of the space. Finally, the host was very responsive and understanding as we adapted our arrival times around storms and flooding. I’d give her 6 stars if I could! Thank you so much for a wonderful visit! Would rent again in a heart beat.
We had the loveliest week in mid September at this rental! Steps to the beach, listening to the waves while you sleep, watching sunrise on the upper porch, easy access to restaurants and the Rehoboth Boardwalk — what more could you want in a small beachfront rental? The beach here is a real gem, set apart from the more crowded areas of Dewey. A 20 minute walk along the beach brought us right to the Rehoboth Boardwalk. Daily umbrella & chair rentals were still available out on the beach during our week. We enjoyed watching lots of dogs play in the sand & the water (dogs are allowed on the beach after Labor Day, although this rental does not allow pets).The photos posted here are very accurate. The decor is lovely, the kitchen is nicely stocked, & everything was very clean. Lots of books to borrow here for beach reading, especially fiction! This little townhouse was the perfect size for our group of 3 adults; I would personally find it close quarters for more than 3 or maybe 4 adults at the most. This would be a terrific rental for a family with young children. I do feel I should note, as a few other reviewers have, that the upstairs bathrooms here are very small, with tight shower stalls. This was fine for us, but it is something to consider for anyone with mobility issues or of larger than average size.Thank you to our host for a wonderful week. I suspect we will be back again!
. . . which is a rare and wonderful thing in a beach house. That’s because the house boasts the best library we’ve seen in a rental, comfortable seating, and views that are sublime, rain or shine. The kitchen is well-outfitted, including with knives that cut, a blender that blends and functional cookware. Importantly, the location had charms I hadn’t realized until we arrived. It’s on a lovely, less traveled patch of beach between the more crowded and chaotic boardwalk stretches of Rehoboth and Dewey, in a neighborhood that feels small town and charming if the scene in Dewey isn’t your scene. Renter tips: bring your own pillows, which is rule that should apply to all rentals. You may also want to bring dish towels — the one thing I regretted not bringing as the paper towels went fast. Unless you are staying well past Labor Day, you can rent umbrellas and chairs from a kiosk right in front of the unit. And don’t miss the breakfast sandwiches and baked goods at Fifer’s farm store and market – a quick walk or pedal away. Thanks to our hosts for a great week. They are friendly and accommodating of our requests while still giving us plenty of privacy.
An unspoiled location that harkens back to years gone by. Walk through the doors, take a deep breath, and you’ll immediately relax. The interior is exactly as shown in photos, only better. This property is lovingly cared for. Everything in perfect working order. The only struggle is deciding whether to stay snuggled in bed with screen door open listening to waves, hang on porch with a great book listening to the waves or venturing a few yards to swim in the waves. Kerry is the perfect host and very kind regarding check-in. If you’re lucky enough to spot a week that you can go and one’s available, grab it!
This was the PERFECT home for my family’s beach trip! I loved relaxing on the balcony overlooking the dunes & waves, watching the sunrise and the moonrise. My kids loved stepping out the back patio onto the sand, which meant we could get to the water whenever the spirit moved us. And if you’re a dog-lover, early morning and late evening is the best time to see the 4-legged friends frolicking in the ocean. Finally, our hosts were responsive, flexible, and gracious, which made our stay even more enjoyable!

This was such a great place for families with little kids. The dunes created a natural fence and the beach has a lifeguard close by. It was well equipped for eating in and had beautiful views of sunrises!

Located right on a less crowded beach with easy access to both Rehoboth boardwalk and Dewey restaurants. Plenty of indoor living spaces and outdoor venues to accommodate family members and enjoy your vacation.
We stayed at this property over Halloween weekend because my 16 year old had some time off from school. We were joined by my 18 year old son and his girlfriend. The house was everything we could have asked for. It was comfortable with plenty of living spaces for all of us so we didn’t feel all stuck on top of each other. The ocean views from the two master bedrooms are amazing and the third bedroom has a commendable view of the beach and of Rehobeth as well. The fourth bedroom is comfortable but for sleeping only, tbh. Honestly, though, that top floor master studio suite was a stroke of design genius for this property and if (when) we stay there again, I foresee us fighting over it.We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and could have walked to Rehobeth if we weren’t feeling lazy (we drove the five minutes to get there). I thought it might be too late in the season to see dolphins, but I saw some from my window on November 1st. I also saw a rabbit while I was rinsing sand off my feet and a big, beautiful, healthy looking fox capering in the dunes between the house and the beach as I looked from my balcony in the early morning.The TVs are well equipped. We were able to watch all the football we wanted and had access to streaming services. The kitchen is also well equipped. We wanted for nothing (although I refused to do any cooking with all of the seafood restaurants near by).This house is a compact little bit of heaven at the beach and we definitely want to stay there again.
This is a great oceanfront property with fantastic access to Rehoboth and Dewey – both walkable. House is very homey with plenty of room for everyone – and great ocean views! Would definitely stay here again. Denise was also very responsive to any questions I had.

We have stayed at this beach house for a few years now and would not think of staying anywhere else since you can’t beat perfection! The views from the balcony are stunning, the walk to the beach is just steps away and the dining experiences in Dewey and Rehoboth are so close by. And the hosts have thought of everything to make it a very comfortable and relaxing getaway!
We are pretty well traveled from adventuring in the mountains to destination beach trips, and I have to say – the stay at Marlo’s property was as close to perfect as it gets.The location centers you with picturesque views of the beach, dunes, and water – and the lodging has a cozy cottage vibe with thoughtful touches at every turn.It’s rare to leave a trip and think * wow, that was perfect * but our trip this summer was truly 10/10. If you don’t like it here then you don’t like it anywhere. This place is bliss for the beach lover. I live 5min from the beach but I’ll still travel 5hrs to stay here. The experience is second to none for the salt life experience. Just don’t book my week next year!!

Our second year at Fluke of Nature did not disappoint. The property is clean and quant, perfect for folks who want great beach access and privacy. Chesapeake street is an incredible location offering an easy walk or bike ride to both Dewey and Rehoboth. And because it borders Silver Lake the beach isn’t overly crowded. We love taking early morning and evening beach walks to enjoy the surfers, skim boarders, dogs, fisherman, and bond fires.Marlo is an awesome host and responded quickly when we locked ourselves out. Fluke of Nature is our family’s favorite trip of the year (and we travel a lot) because it gives us a chance to unplug and be together. We will be back in 2023!

Our family had a wonderful time at this terrific property. It is the second time we have stayed. The location can’t be beat and waking up to a view of the ocean each morning was magical. We all love the many decks. There were seven of us and two dogs and we feel there is more than enough space for all. Love the outdoor shower (hot and cold water!) and indoor garage. Communication with the host is extremely easy and we received prompt responses to any inquiry before, during and after the stay. The nieghborhood is quiet and beautiful. Can’t wait to return.
Location cannot be beat!!! The property manager is a pleasure to deal with. She responds quickly and went above and beyond her job to help us out.

House has great living space with a bright, well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to gather. Pool was enjoyed by many after a day at the beach. Close to downtown shops. Would definitely book here again!
We had a wonderful stay at this property in Rehoboth beach! Great for a large family as there is a bathroom in every room! The pool is alsoGreat. The house had much more than the listing said! Lots of bikes and pool toys and beach chairs! Would definitely rent again. Only thing is the cleaners could have done a better job prior to our stay.
My family of 6 adults and 3 kids stayed at this house for a week in June. The house seems to have been recently renovated and all of the appliances were in great working condition. The pool in the backyard was a great feature for the young kids as well. The location is ~1 block from both the main drag and ~2 blocks from the beach, so walking distance from everything in Rehoboth. The house is also really well insulated which eliminated virtually all outside noise. Remax was very easy to deal with and I thought the property was well-priced for what we got. My only negative feedback on the house was that there was no pantry, cabinet, or shelving space for dry foods. Very minor inconvenience, but a bit of a head-scratcher.

This was a terrible experience. Nothing in this house worked. Several doors to the exterior did not work, it took 2 days for the rental company to figure out the internet, the front door lock broke, the washer and dryer didn’t work, a window in one of the bathrooms wouldn’t shut, and the list goes on… When I arrived and took my shoes off I was greeted by sand all over the floor. We spent much of our vacation dealing with trying to get these issues addressed. We were never able to get the back door to lock which was obviously a safety concern. I have stayed at dozens of rental properties and have never written a negative review. I am writing this to save other families from staying at this rental. Highly disappointed.
The house was beautiful and just a few short blocks from the beach! Beautiful outdoor decks and a rooftop tech overlooking the neighborhood. Great water pressure in the showers too!
The location was great. 10-15 minute walk to beach and restaurants. The master suite was great. The patio and courtyard was beautiful. A few things needed updating and fixing but overall the house was in good condition.
We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was very comfortable and flexible for both when we had just 2 people and when we had 10. Easy walk to both beach and town and nice quiet neighborhood. House has many great spaces–indoors & outdoors–that suited all of our different needs.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is walkable to town in Rehoboth and to Poodle Beach, but the supplied parking passes make driving to either possible. The pool was great and big fun for the kids. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had some small issues with the trash collection and with the ice maker but those are minor issues that likely will be quickly addressed. Overall, we would be thrilled to stay here again.
