Dawn Damico is a Florida-based freelance travel writer, photographer, and member of the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association. After an exciting career in real estate and marketing, and studies in wellness and nutrition, she now spends her days traveling, bringing a lifetime of experience and natural curiosity to her travels.
Dawn believes we can reimagine our lives at every stage, and she uses travel to do just that, writing from a 50+ woman's perspective. She understands there is more than one way to travel. She has traveled both solo and as a couple, often with her black lab. Dawn also enjoys multi-generational travel and the experiences she has with her granddaughter.
She's as comfortable with wine-tasting and spa days as hiking, RVing, and cooking over an open fire. She's always looking for a unique story angle, asking how she can write to inspire others to live and thrive at every age.
