Our mission is to serve the 50+ traveler who's ready to cross a few items off their bucket list.
After 27 years of practice, John is a happily retired physician anesthesiologist. Earlier in his life, he served in the military with the U.S. Coast Guard at a motor lifeboat station in California and on a cutter off the coast of Vietnam as a cryptographer and Morse code operator. He was subsequently a consultant on government budgeting practices in Washington D.C., New York City, and San Francisco. Through these experiences, he traveled much of the United States, throughout the Pacific, and parts of Europe and Canada.
He is now on permanent summer vacation, continuing to travel with his wife as time and conditions allow. He looks for fun, beauty, and humor in his wanderings, taking photos and making memories along the way. He enjoys good food, whiskeys and wine, reading, the company of great friends, and sharing his travel experiences and insights with others.
