Jo Kromberg is a business and travel writer and editor with a career spanning 30 years. She was the editor of illustrious business publications such as Black Business Quarterly in South Africa, and edited travel publications such as African Safaris and Family Holiday & Leisure magazine. Jo also worked as writer and editor for the Africa Travel section of the Chinese publication, The Beijing Review. Jo’s work has been published in more than 20 publications, both locally and internationally, including Conde Nast Traveler, and she has been on the judging panel for South African Tourism’s Welcome Awards. She was a member of the South African National Editors' Forum and worked as a talk radio producer and media consultant. She has traveled to almost 50 countries in more than a third of the world in her quest for adventure, new cultures, and discoveries of all kinds. However, her biggest passion remains the continent of Africa in all its natural beauty, diversity, and peoples.
