Finding herself at death’s door one day wasn’t fun. Seven weeks paralyzed in Intensive Care, kept alive by drugs and machines, wasn’t what she ordered. A further two months in a rehabilitation facility to learn how to stand, walk, and care for herself wasn’t in her life’s plans either.
However, Marie Kimber was one of the fortunate people gifted a return ticket and never looked back. Combining her love of writing and travel, she delved into the world of travel writing; her first submitted article made the publication’s list of top ten stories for the year.
Complemented with inspirational speaking, conducting workshops, and hosting small group tours overseas, she uses her life experience to lead others to confidence and curiosity.
An addict of self-development and storytelling, Marie lives on the beach in Adelaide, South Australia.
