Our mission is to serve the 50+ traveler who's ready to cross a few items off their bucket list.
Michelle Peters writes about the world from her home office in Seattle. Leaving her post as an editor at a travel marketing firm, she made the leap to full-time freelance travel writing, moved cross-country from New England to Seattle, had three kiddos, built a house, and adopted one goofy Bernese mountain dog. These days, most of her travels with her family are within the Pacific Northwest, showing off the North Cascades and nearby national parks — from Mount Rainier and Mount Baker to Vancouver Island and Crater Lake — to her kids. She’s been fortunate enough to visit the Alps of Switzerland and Germany, England, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico, Fiji, and Prince Edward Island. As the kids grow up and out, Michelle hopes to tackle Patagonia’s “W” or “O” Circuit and perfect her backcountry skiing.
