Patti is an award-winning writer who has covered topics from food, travel, and culture to history, pets, and more for local, regional, and national publications.

Born and raised in the tropics of Miami, she later moved to the deserts of Phoenix, and now calls Boise, Idaho home.

Patti loves spending time on the beaches of Oregon and California, always with her dogs. Over the years her travels have taken her to cities throughout the U.S. and to Toronto, London, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, and the Caribbean. But one of her most memorable adventures was a trip with Boise’s Basque choir to the Basque Country of Spain, where they performed in concert throughout the region, including for the Basque president.

Patti recently retired from a 40-year career in public relations and now enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Bella and Roodi.
