It was a popular tourist spot. But fewer tourists than France, Spain, or the US visited it last year. More evidently, this country is small and crowds of tourists are rather visible.

The Vatican plans a Jubilee in 2025. It expects millions of tourists in Rome. They will visit and maybe ease traffic near major churches.

Rome is preparing for 35 million pilgrims during the Jubilee. That's a jump from 20 million in the last Jubilee in 2016.

This year, the Jubilee will bring more visitors to Rome. The government is renovating public transport and building new structures.
